Three steps to your first result

  1. Download and unzip the file above — you get a folder called pyglotaran-starter-kit.
  2. Double-click the START_HERE file for your operating system. The first run installs everything automatically.
  3. Follow the notebooks that open in your browser. Everything is explained as you go.

🪟 Windows

Double-click START_HERE_Windows.bat. If a blue warning appears, click More info → Run anyway.

🍎 macOS

Right-click START_HERE_Mac.command and choose Open.

🐧 Linux

Run bash START_HERE_Linux.sh in a terminal.

Nothing is installed permanently on your system. The kit sets up a self-contained environment inside its own folder. The first launch needs internet; after that it works offline.

What's inside

01Welcome — learn how a notebook works and check the install.
02Your first analysis — a full fit on a two-component dataset from a CSV file.
03Going deeper — the same workflow on a richer three-component dataset.
04A real case study — time-resolved fluorescence from a real measurement.
05Going further — target analysis, multi-dataset fits, and published case studies.
